Patrick Fry

Patrick Fry, designer and occasional collaborator with the recently featured Shaz Madani has a really broad range of exciting work on his site. The above is only a snapshot so it’s definitely worth a look.

Shaz Madani

Really great layouts and typography from Shaz Madani.

Jas Bhachu

Recent graduate from Liverpool, Jas Bhachu has produced the stunning ‘Rubiks Cube Font Generator’. The simple ideas are always the best and if it goes into production I can see happily nestling on the shelves of the Design Museum shop!
Also interesting to see he has built his website with the cargocollective, perhaps it will be a worthy rival to indexhibit?

Onlab

I’ve featured the work of Onlab before but as they’re based in Berlin I thought I’d feature them again. I really like the innovative feel of their editorial work, particularly for Domus magazine. It’s also surprising to see how many of their book designs I recognise, from the ‘Logos trilogy’ to ‘Data Flow.’

Slang

I’ve recently been looking into a few agencies and designers in Berlin as preparation for a trip out there next year. I came across Slang also known as, NathanaĆ«l Hamon a freelance designer based in Berlin who has a good variety of print, identity and exhibition work.

Serial Cut

Really impressive diverse range of work from Serial Cut. You can see from their work that their studio would be a fun place to be… I quite fancy a placement in Madrid.

The swine

Masks to protect from swine flu! Some other good work from Yoriko Yoshida too, worth checking out.

Because Studio

This work from Because Studio strongly relates to a project that I’ve got in the pipeline at the moment. Screen-printed experiments and good ideas coming from hard times is good to see. There’s some other nice work on their site too, check it out here, but I just can’t help but hate the sideways scroll which seems to be on so many portfolio sites right now.

Liziana Cruz

liziana
Really like this particular work from Liziana Cruz. It has sparked lots of ideas about innovating the use of materials and one-off pieces.

Swear words

Some cool work from Australian based, Swear Words. Particularly like their identity stuff and the way their work is photographed.
